Direct labour, indirect labour, machine fixed cost, machine variable cost, depreciation, and overhead — per cost centre, per Mockup Year. Total rate is always computed, never manually entered.

Material Price Index Sync

External commodity feeds (LME, ICIS, custom) sync on schedule. Drift alerts fire when market price diverges from your current cost assumptions — before the customer notices.

Overhead Methodology

Choose surcharge-based (Zuschlagskalkulation), activity-based (Prozesskostenrechnung), or hybrid allocation. One methodology active per deployment, applied uniformly across all calculations.

Every change to every field is recorded in an append-only ledger: entity, field name, old value, new value, user, and timestamp. Immutable once written. Exportable to CSV or PDF for external auditors.

Configurable Approval Routing

Data-driven rules evaluated when a cost version is submitted. Conditions like "margin below 15%" or "annual value above €500k" route to the correct approver. Escalation timeouts ensure nothing stalls in the queue.

Plausibility Validation

Automated checks per process type: cycle time vs. weight, rate vs. benchmark, scrap rate vs. norm. Severity levels (Info, Warning, Critical). Critical violations require override with documented justification.
